Debra Power, president of Power Marketing Research, recently had an opportunity to teach a group of amazing young girls about the power of being a business owner.
Power taught the "Business Owner" badge workshop for the Girls Scouts of Southeastern Michigan. The workshop included an overview of business ownership and customer research. The scouts came up with ideas for their own businesses, developed a logo, and a made a business card.
"It was so much fun, and I wish we'd had a badge like this when I was a girl scout. From pet stores, to bakeries, to dentistry, the business ideas were really inspired," remarked Power. "It was an honor to help the girls see that business ownership could be a part of their future."
